How to build your tango music library right? There was a time we used to play from CDs, we would have to carry them in cases and make notes on the cover papers, then the digital era started. From Tango Tunes to Tango Time Travel and other sources, you will learn where to get the best quality tango music from.
You got the music but now what? How to choose the 1st song of the tanda? Is it illegal to play instrumentals and with singers in the same tanda? What about the years? What about the cortinas? You will learn the structure of the tanda with exercises and samples.
You put together a great Di Sarli with Duran tanda, great job, but to play next? Should you play Pugliese instrumentals or perhaps Donato with Maida? How to decide? You will learn the method myself and several other DJs use.
