Tango TO Istanbul festival is internationally known tango festival held in Istanbul, Turkey in March annually. Organizers wanted to offer a special marathon component in addition to the festival schedule. For this purpose, we have designed a marathon event inside the festival with different DJ one up and concept that would attract advanced dancers from around the world. We named the event “t2i Marathon”.
I have managed the t2i marathon event fort two years, coordinated artist management, schedule, marketing and social media management as well as the event execution with Tango TO Istanbul team. The second year we have changed the concept design as the event grew rapidly. To this date, marathon component of the tango TO Istanbul festival continued successfully.
